EC Mapping

The use of our Kubota RTV with Sub-Inch RTK allows us to create very detailed EC Maps as well as Sub-Inch Topography Maps.

The EM38 provides measurement of apparent conductivity and magnetic susceptibility to an effective depth of 1.5 meters.

Depending on soil condition and time of year, EC data can help you get a better handle on the variability of fields including: Soil Texture, Soil Depth and Holding Capacity. Using this data will help you with Variable Rate Fertilizer, Field Variability, Zone Mapping and Irrigation System Design and Layout.
