CUSTOMIZE YOUR STEIGER® TRACTOR Axles, Wheels, Tire & Weights New axles for the 9300 Series tractors are capacity-matched to these tractors’ higher horsepower ratings. These designs feature improved differentials, bigger bearings and planetaries along with beefier housings. BAR AXLE WITH SLIDING HUBS Standard on the 9330 and 9350, the 4" (101 mm) diameter bar axle is designed for tillage situations. To handle row-crop applications, this axle allows for tread adjustments from 60 to 132 in. (1532 to 3352 mm). Sliding hubs provide good wheel clamping and ballasting capabilities. OUTBOARD PLANETARY AXLE WITH TIE-BOLT DUALS This heavy-duty axle is standard on the 9370 and optional on the 9350. It’s matched with tie-bolt duals, which provide a main rim bolted directly to the axle hub. A flexible spacer band separates the main from the dual, and the wheel is joined by tie-bolts that tension the dual to the main rim. This wheel is designed for normal tillage applications and is well suited for High Plains farming. OUTBOARD PLANETARY AXLE WITH HEAVY-DUTY FLANGE-STYLE WHEELS The outboard planetary axle is standard on the 9370, 9380 and 9390, and optional on the 9350. A heavy-duty flange style, also referred to as a "Tiger Style" wheel, is standard on the 9380 and 9390 and optional on the 9370 and 9350. This wheel is designed for heavier tillage loads, higher operating weights and heavier soil types. Applications requiring this wheel type include 3-pt. hitch work, scrapers or grain carts. A new 20 bolt pattern adds strength and durability. NEW TIRE CHOICES For meeting specialty row-crop applications, you can now choose an 18.4 x 46 tire for the 9350 bar-axle tractor. Or for the big 9370, 9380 and 9390 tractors, the 710/R70 x 38 tire features and improved ability for cleaning in wet, muddy conditions along with good flotation and less compaction.
