Grain Heads

Hook up to one of the 1010 Series grain headers and you've assembled a grain harvesting system perfectly matched to small grains like wheat, barley, milo and flax. Or for soybeans, the 1020 flexible cutterbar header cuts soybeans that other designs would pass by.

All grain headers use an efficient knife system with a 3-inch stroke of 500 cycle per minute that gives fast, clean cuts. Plus, the flexible 1020 adds a six-inch (152 mm) flex range to compensate for rough, uneven ground. The pickup reel may be adjusted from the cab to match crop height, and a variable-speed reel drive matches ground speed and crop conditions. Finally, a big- diameter auger moves grain into the feeder quickly and with minimal shattering.

The 1010 and 1020 headers are available in a variety of widths to match your system's capacity, from 15 to 25 feet (4.57 to 7.62 m). (The 2188 can be fitted with a 30 foot / 9.14 m header.)

Or to windrow small grain, choose an 11- or 13- foot (3.35 or 3.96 m) 1015 pickup header. Both easily lift light to full windrows for uniform feeding and grain-saving performance.
