OVERBUILT TO OVERACHIEVE In the frenzy of harvest, there is simply no room for downtime. Thats why the 2100 Series Axial Flow® combines are built stronger in ways that you may never even notice. Decades of experience and exhaustive focus group studies have pointed out key areas for modification and strengthening. Some of those areas are indicated here, but there are many more improvements that you may never be aware of. And thats what we intended.
Feeder Chains Feeder chain slats bolt onto the feeder chain for added durability and easier slat replacement. Rock Trap Rock trap option enables you to cut closer to the ground in rocky fields. Install it between the feeder and rotor, and its powerful beater will knock away rocks and other unwanted material. You just empty the trapped rocks at your convenience. Clean-Grain Cross Auger Clean-grain cross auger on the 2188 has larger bearings and an increased shaft thickness of 1.375" (35 mm) for improved reliability. Final Drives Final drives that include heavier housings and larger output shafts are standard on all 2188 models and on 2144 and 2166 models with duals. |
