THE ROTOR: A REVOLUTION IN HARVEST TECHNOLOGY

Rotor

A Proven Design for Superior Grain Quality and Reliability

If you want to see the "blueprints" for maximizing yields and grain quality at harvest time, just take a look at our patented Axial-Flow® combine rotor.

The standard rotor provides optimum capacity for most corn and wheat conditions.

Rotor

The specialty rotor maintains maximum capacity in tough-stemmed crops. Required for crops like edible beans and rice, the specialty rotor is also becoming a standard for today’s better-standing, yet tough-stemmed soybean varieties.

The single, in-line, longitudinally mounted rotor gently threshes and separates your crop at the speed you select from inside the cab. The crop material spirals rearward, remaining in the threshing section far longer than conventional cylinder-and concave systems. Greater concave clearance and more time result in more complete threshing, with less damage to fragile seed coats.

Conventional combines still rely on a cylinder-and-concave threshing system which quickly and aggressively threshes the crop. This often leads to grain that’s damaged or lost out the back of the combine.

An Axial-Flow® combine maximizes the amount of grain in the tank and minimizes damage, and it does it with remarkable simplicity. The threshing and separating system has just one moving part doing the job of as many as 16 in a conventional machine with straw walkers, and that equals a payoff in reduced adjustment maintenance and increased grain in the tank.

The Axial-Flow® combine offers gentle, multiple-pass rotary threshing. Crop material threshes during multiple spirals around the rotor cage.

Harsh, conventional cylinder-and-concave systems must thresh all the grain through less than a 180º rotation of the cylinder.
